So many books and so little money!!
I always get slightly jealous when I see people with extensive bookshelves of the best titles. I’m not sure if it’s just Singapore, but I find it expensive to purchase more than two books a month. And that’s when I don’t buy books every month. It’s always a little sad when I can’t get a great series to place on my shelf because I don’t have enough money to pay for it.
The worst thing is that I’m not a big fan of ebooks so I prefer to get the real deal, you know. But that costs way more! So because of this, I love to head to book fairs instead. I’m always on the look out for the next book fair that’s happening near me so I can head down to get some good books. But most of the time, the cheap books at a fair are the lesser known titles. I’m not saying they aren’t as good or anything, don’t get me wrong. All I’m trying to say is that it’s not always the most interesting. I mean, there has to be a reason why popular and bestselling books are what they are, right?
Well, this was just a completely random and frustrating book problem I had to get off my chest. But you and I both know that no matter how much I rant about book prices, I’ll still buy them anyway.
